In September 1999, the band were delighted to receive a second grant of £4,000 as a result of a great deal of hard work by Vernon Hudson, this time from the Millennium Festival Awards for All Scheme. This allowed the band to produce a CD, featuring the 'Sounds Across Africa' suite.

Producing a CD had been a long-term ambition for the band, but until RVS received this funding, the finances were not available to do so. We recorded the CD over one weekend, which was an invaluable experience for all concerned, and a rewarding final result.
